| About Sweet Collies |
Hey there! I am Lacy Sweet :-)
Sweet Collies was established in 1995 with our first collie (a companion dog,
named "Lad" pictured below with me) We fell head over heels with this
awesome breed and the rest is pretty much history.
Sweet Collies is situated atop the beautiful Cumberland Plateau in
Middle Tn. (pictured below, the lake at our state park in Cumberland Co.)
Currently I am active in showing ,breeding, and rescue. Where
breeding is concerned, I strive to make improvements regarding
health and genetics. Pictured below, one of our many rescue collies successfully
rehomed with their forever families.
My collies are healthy genetically, sound in temperaments, typey
and elegant. Pictured below Sweet's Butterscotch Express "Divinity"
pictured also on our girls page (all grown up)
I believe that longevity plays an important role with breeding.
My collies are definitely equipped with brains, I couldn't ask for a more
intelligent breed to have the pleasure of sharing my home with. Pictured
below, "Stormy" herding naturally.
The sport of showing our collies in conformation is something I truly
enjoy, but my Collies are companions first and foremost and we
take special joy in knowing our puppies produced here are well socialized
companions whether kept for show or sold as loving companions. Pictured
below, "Divinity" going reserve winners bitch at 10 mos of age.
